I found someone with hey mercedes videos on slsk. The videos were taken from a show in Sept 2003 (Sacramento). Bob is wearing a tee that reads 'elephant'. For whatever geeky reason, I love it. Wondering if anyone knows where I can find such a shirt. If you leave me your e-mail I can send you the video. I'm also curious to know if anyone has a Braid Frames Hoodie (Black) that they are willing to part with. Thanks.

I have a Friction, Blurred In Six record... I bought it used and never played it, so I'm not quite sure of the quality, but it looks to be in decent condition. Dave says to give me twenty for it, so you should listen to him. I'm sure he knows more about records than I do.

so last night i bought a used copy of "frankie welfare boy age 5." but it isn't the copy i've seen before. it has the picture, but it's really dark. and the cover is dark red. the back is grey and says, "printed in canada" in the bottom right hand corner. the cd itself is brown and says, "divot no. 2" at the bottom. as for the liner notes, etc. it looks pretty low budget. i haven't been able to find any info on this version. i figure i'll ask bob when i see the city on film on the 7th, but i thought i'd try here, as well.

I am new here and kind of new to the Braid love.
The thing is, the Braid Website fot the 2004 tour isn't working anymore. I remember it had a nice picture gallery over there and so I wonder if anyone saved the pictures and could send me.

Hey. I just have a really quick question.
Last week, my boyfriend got a call from someone from this site called mpshows.com, which is a real booking agency. The guy asked my boyfriend if his band would be interested in playing a show with Braid on March 12 in Chicago. My boyfriend was confused because Braid is obviously broken up. The guy is apparently legit, but does anyone know WTF is going on with them or what? I also read something about Hey Mercedes breaking up a couple days ago, sooo...
I guess if you just have any info, that would help.
Thanks! Current Mood: confused

the good news?
'The esteemed Mr. BOB NANNA, who you may know from his time a-song-writin' and a-singin' in BRAID and HEY MERCEDES, is entering the studio with a full band for his solo project THE CITY ON FILM in early February, when he will commit to tape an EP for Redder entitled American Diary. Expect greatness!'
could this be true?! a glimmer of hope in the darkness?!
